Lasagna sheets are a flat and transparent sheet that made up with plain flour, Italian lasagna dish is made up of several layers of lasagna sheets, veggies, and a good amount of cheese.

Ingredients for lasagna sheets:

  • All-purpose flour: 2 cups
  • Oil: 2 tablespoon
  • Water as required
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder: ½ tablespoon

Ingredients for stuffing:

  • Onion: 1 cup chopped
  • Potatoes: 2 boiled and chopped
  • Tomato: 1cup
  • Capsicum red & green: 1cup
  • Sweet corn: ½ cup
  • Coriander leaves: ½ cup finely chopped
  • Basil: ½ cup chopped
  • Ginger-garlic: finely chopped
  • Butter: 2 tablespoon
  • Black pepper powder: 1tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder: 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flacks: 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano: 1 tablespoon
  • Mix herbs: 1 tablespoon
  • Mozzarella cheese: 2 cups grated
  • Pizza sauce: 1 cup
  • White sauce: 1 cup

How to make lasagna sheets:

  1. Firstly, Take a bowl and add plain flour, salt to taste, oil and black pepper powder and mix all together well.
  2. Together with, add little water to it and knead nicely, make a soft, firmed dough, cover the dough with the damp cloth, keep aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Then after, divide the dough into small portions and roll it on rolling board with a good amount of dry plain flour.
  4. Moreover, Roll it in a very thin sheet, place the thin lasagna sheet on paper or rack of the oven to dry the sheets.
  5. Finally, the lasagna sheets are ready, Keep aside under the fan for 30-40 minutes till up to transparent.

Make a vegetable stuffing for lasagna:

  1. Another side, in a pan, heats the butter on medium flame and add chopped ginger-garlic, chopped onion and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add chili flacks and oregano stirring well cook for few minutes on low flame.
  3. In addition, add red and green chopped capsicum, tomatoes, sweet corn, and chopped potatoes, sauté them gently on medium flame.
  4. Cook for 3 minutes and add chili powder, black pepper powder and salt to taste and chopped coriander leaves, mix well and cook it for 2-3 minutes till they are dry.
  5. As a result is the vegetables are ready to keep them aside for cool down.

How to prepare Italian lasagna:

  1. First of all, we make pizza sauce to light with the good amount of water.
  2. Another side, in a medium-size heavy coated pan, spread 2 tablespoon of red sauce(pizza sauce) which is light liquid pizza sauce and place the lasagna sheet on the sauce.
  3. Furthermore, spread red sauce again on top of the lasagna sheet, spread a good amount of vegetable stuffing that we made, spread around 2 tablespoons of white sauce, a little bit of chopped basil and spread a good amount of mozzarella cheese.
  4. On top of the cheese place lasagna sheet and repeat the step number-3 again for two times.
  5. Moreover, the last layer adds all remaining sauces, vegetables, and cheese, spread it around, so the Italian Lasagna is ready to cook now.
  6. Then, place this pan on a stove and cook the lasagna on low flame for around 20-25 minutes.
  7. Hence, the delicious cheesy Italian lasagna in a pan is perfectly ready, sprinkle little Italian herbs and chopped coriander leaves.
  8. in conclusion, the Italian lasagna is ready, Serve hot or after 10minutes.
