Mix Veg Paddu

Mix Veg Paddu

is one of the many dishes from South Indian cuisine, The rice and dal batter can be mixed with vegetables and cooked in a special pan to make mix veg Paddu.

Prep. Time: 20 Min.
Serving: 4 serves.

Ingredients:

  • Dosa Batter – 2 cups
  • Veggie Oats – 40g
  • Onion – ½ cup
  • Carrot – 2 tbsp
  • Green chili – 1 tsp
  • Tomato – ½ cup
  • Beans – 2 tbsp
  • coriander – 2 tbsp
  • Grated paneer – 2 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp
  • Oil for Brushing
  • Hing – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste

How to Prepare :

  1. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Heat a paddu pan over medium heat.
  3. Brush very little oil within the cavities to avoid paddu from protruding on the pan.
  4. Pour very little batter within the pan cavities and canopy the pan.
  5. Cook until paddu ar slightly tanned from rock bottom.
  6. flip the paddu and cook on the opposite aspect uncovered until slightly tanned.
  7. Remove paddu from the pan.
  8. Serve hot with coconut chutney or any other chutney of your choice.
