PIZZA SAUCE | SCHEZWAN SAUCE RECIPE

Pizza sauce is the hot and spicy sauce made with fresh onion-tomatoes-chili-garlic and some Italian spices. mostly known as Indo-Chinese cuisine sauce that used in Italian and Chinese dishes.

Ingredients for pizza sauce:

  • Tomatoes: 5 medium sizes
  • Carrot: 2 medium sizes
  • Onion: 1 medium size finely chopped
  • Garlic: 10 cloves chopped
  • Oregano: 1tablespoon
  • Basil leaves: 5-6
  • Sugar: 1teaspoon
  • Red chili powder: 1teaspoon
  • Chili flacks: ½ tablespoon
  • Tomato ketchup: 3 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Olive Oil/butter: 2 tablespoon

How to make pizza sauce:

  1. First of all, cut all the tomatoes in half like crisscross at the bottom, heat the water in the deep pan and x cut tomatoes and carrots,
  2. And, boil them for 5 minutes on medium flame,
  3. Pill all the tomatoes skin, and take 3 tomatoes and boiled carrots to blend and make a smooth paste,
  4. Now, in a pan heat the olive oil on medium flame and add chopped garlic, finely chopped onion and take another 2 pilled tomatoes roughly chop and remove seeds gently,
  5. Mix in pan and mash them well, add bland tomatoes puree and stirring well,
  6. Add chopped basil leaves, sugar, oregano, red chili powder, chili flacks and salt to taste,
  7. Mix all well and close the lid and simmering them for 10 minutes,
  8. After 10 minutes add tomato catch up and mix it again nicely,
  9. Turn off the flame and keep pizza sauce aside for cool down,
  10. Pizza sauce is ready.
  11. Keep this sauce in airtight container and store it for 15-20 days.
